The Shediac Mascarade

Friday 28 to Sunday 30 May 2027

Nineteenth-century Shediac in masks and candlelight, at the Neptune Drive-In Theatre and its merchant village. Friday’s Sand Follies at Parlee Beach, from five o’clock, are included with every ticket.

The Shediac Renaissance Faire

Friday 20 to Sunday 22 August 2027

Our flagship event, the Shediac Renaissance Faire, transforms Shediac into a vibrant world of minstrels, jesters, artisans, and explorers. Clad in earth-toned leathers and joyful silks, performers bring old-world wonder to life with music, theatre, and interactive spectacle around every corner. Expect:

Artisan crafts and demonstrations
Feastable delights and hearth-fresh flavours
Jousts, feats of skill, and period performances
Hands-on workshops for all ages

Ideal for families, history lovers, costumed revellers, and anyone with an appetite for wonder. Friday’s Gathering of the Realms at Parlee Beach, from five o’clock, is included with every ticket.

Afterland

Friday 1 to Sunday 3 October 2027

The world ended. Shediac kept the kettle on. It’s 2285, and the survivors have assembled at the warm shore: rat rods and hot rods, a salvage market, storytellers competing by firelight, and films on the drive-in screen after dark. Friday’s First Fire at Parlee Beach, from five o’clock, is included with every ticket.

Le Moque-Tortue‘s Musical Patio

As the sun lowers and the lamps begin to glow, the patio at Le Moque-Tortue comes alive. Every evening throughout the summer season, live musicians take their place beneath open skies, from soulful acoustic sets to lively Acadien, folk harmonies, and the occasional unexpected delight. These are not “special events.” It’s simply how evenings are done here. What to expect:

Live music nightly during summer season
A rotating lineup of local and regional talent
Full bistro menu & curated drinks
An atmosphere that feels like summer was bottled and poured by the glass

Bazar Neptune

Friday evenings, 5pm until showtime

Shediac’s Friday Evening Treasure Hunt is a bustling celebration of makers, creators, and colourful curiosities. The Bazar Neptune is part community market, part festival: a seaside gathering spot for local artisans, gourmet purveyors, whimsical wares, and inspired ideas.

The Bazar is a community moment shaped by the people who call Shediac home and those on a tide of adventure.

Movie Nights at the Neptune

From May to late October

Stars above, big screen ahead. At The Neptune Drive-In Theatre, movie night is an experience, with themed screenings, seasonal series, and community favourites under the open sky.

Witzend Tours & Adventures Seasonal Series

Get out of the everyday and into adventure. Witzend’s seasonal series, now in the works, will blend guided experiences with playful challenges, from coastal walks with curious twists to themed scavenger explorations that feel like an invitation to wander with purpose.
